General Terms and Conditions of ValentinsJewellery Online Store
The General Terms and Conditions ("Terms") of ValentinsJewellery online store, operated by Juvelir-Zlatar, Valentin Batalak s.p. ("Provider"), are established following the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot), the Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-1), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-1). These Terms apply to the operation and use of the online store and websites operated by the Provider, including store.valentinsjewellery.com and www.valentinsjewellery.com.
Using the websites, the current Terms bind users, and buyers are bound by the detailed Terms when placing orders. Users are reminded of the General Terms and Conditions and must confirm their awareness of the contents before placing an order.
Definitions:
1. "User" refers to a registered or unregistered visitor to the Website.
2. "Customer" refers to a user who orders through the Provider's online shop to purchase products.
3. "Order" refers to an offer made by the Customer to conclude a sales contract for purchasing products from the online shop.
4. "Buyer" refers to the Customer whose order is confirmed by the Provider via email, establishing a sales contract.

3. Disclaimer and Use of the Website
The online shop is available 24/7; however, due to technical or other reasons, occasional disruptions or limited access may occur. The Provider reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or withdraw the sale of products and access to the Website. Changes to the Website's content and these Terms may occur without prior notice.
The Provider is not liable for website use, content, or information consequences. Users are responsible for protecting themselves against computer viruses. The Provider is not liable for the content of external websites.
Users may use the Provider's website content only for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any unauthorized use, copying, reproduction, distribution, publication, or distribution of website content is prohibited without the Provider's permission.
4. Offer of Products in the Online Shop
The products in the online shop are part of the Provider's program offer. Product descriptions may be changed and errors corrected without prior notice. Product images are symbolic and may not reflect the actual condition or characteristics fully. A certificate confirming authenticity is provided with each purchased product, and a 12-month guarantee is offered for silver jewelry, gold jewelry, and other luxury products.
5. Prices, Payment, and Stocks
All prices on the Website include applicable VAT and are in EUR. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The purchase of products is subject to the price published when placing the order. Delivery costs are indicated before placing the order. Various payment methods are available to buyers, including cash on collection, payment at the store, bank transfer, PayPal, credit/debit cards, and SEPA Direct Debit. Special offers are subject to specific terms and conditions and availability. The Provider reserves the right to cancel orders if the requested product is out of stock. The selected items remain the Provider's property until the purchase price is paid in full.
6. Purchase
To make a purchase, the User selects the desired product and adds it to the basket. The User can modify the order, provide customer details, choose the payment method, and confirm their agreement to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Before confirming the order, the User can review and modify the order details. After placing the order, the User receives email notifications confirming the order and its status. The sales contract is concluded upon confirmation, and the User is fully bound by the order placed.
7. Packaging and Delivery
The User can choose the delivery address when placing the order. Optimal delivery routes are selected for prompt delivery. Delivery is typically made within three working days in Slovenia. If delivery is unsuccessful, the User can arrange re-delivery or pickup. The Provider is not liable for damage or loss during transportation exceeding the order's value. Delivery charges are calculated automatically, and free delivery thresholds may apply. Return and refund policies apply to damaged or defective goods.
8. Privacy Protection
ValentinsJewellery ensures the secure and unconditional treatment of User data by applicable personal data protection regulations. Personal data provided during ordering is used solely for order fulfillment and necessary communication. Additional processing of personal data requires explicit consent from the User. Secure data transmission is ensured using the SSL protocol, protecting sensitive personal and transactional information.
9. Withdrawal, Return of Goods, Warranty, and Material Defects
Buyers can return purchased products within the specified withdrawal period with a refund guarantee. The withdrawal notice must be sent within 30 days of receipt of the products. The Buyer is responsible for returning the goods within this period. The Buyer bears return costs unless the goods are defective or damaged. Upon withdrawal, a refund is issued within 14 days of receiving the notice. Warranty and material defect policies apply to faulty products.
10. Dispute Settlement
The Provider aims to resolve disputes promptly and amicably. In case of unresolved conflicts, the court of material jurisdiction in Šmarje pri Jelšah, Slovenia, will settle the matter, adhering to consumer legislation and applicable laws.
